Ophthalmology

THE EYE

Our eyes are extremely sensitive, highly complex organs. Through them, we perceive the world, discover exciting new things, and interpret the emotions of our fellow human beings. Even the smallest problems can have a severe impact on our eyes.

Any intervention therefore requires a great deal of trust in the specialists involved.

MANHAGEN EYE CLINIC

The clinic has three operating theatres and one diagnosis centre with ultra-modern technology for cataract and glaucoma surgery using laser technology, combined cataract-glaucoma surgery, eyelid surgery, retina and vitreous body surgery and strabology (squint surgery).

The Manhagen eye clinic was the first eye clinic in Schleswig-Holstein to develop a DIN EN ISO 9001-certified quality management system. The eye clinic is a certified operation centre of one of the largest ophthalmologist networks in Germany. As well as inpatient operative treatments, the clinic also offers outpatient operations. In such cases, the entire clinic, particularly with its ward and night doctors, is also available in the background as an additional option.
