Funding for digitalisation through the German Hospital Future Fund (KHZF)
Under the German Hospital Future Act (KHZG), Klinik Manhagen has received funding from the Hospital Future Fund (KHZF). The programme aims to advance digitalisation in German hospitals and improve patient care sustainably. It is financed in part by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU recovery programme.
The funding has enabled Klinik Manhagen to implement important digitalisation measures. These include introducing a modern patient data management system, a digital patient chart, and upgrading the network and Wi-Fi infrastructure.
The patient data management system and digital chart support modern, secure and efficient documentation of clinical processes. Information becomes available more quickly, breaks between digital and analogue media are reduced, and collaboration between professional groups is made easier. This helps optimise treatment pathways and strengthen patient safety further.
Renewing the network and Wi-Fi infrastructure has also created the technical foundations for reliable operation of modern digital applications. A powerful, stable IT infrastructure underpins the increasing digitalisation of treatment, documentation and communication processes in the hospital.
These measures make an important contribution to the continued development of digital healthcare and help Klinik Manhagen offer patients modern, high-quality care in the future.
