Visits from relatives, friends and acquaintances provide a welcome change for our patients and valuable motivation during rehabilitation. To help everyone feel comfortable, please show consideration for your loved one and for other patients.

Please remember that essential nursing and treatment activities continue during visiting hours. You may therefore be asked to leave the room temporarily.

If you have a cold or infectious illness, please postpone your visit until you have recovered.

General rules for visitors

• You do not need to register at reception.
• Number of visitors: Keep the group of visitors as small as possible. We recommend no more than two visitors at a time.
• Hygiene: Disinfect your hands when entering and leaving the wards. Hand sanitiser dispensers are available at every entrance.
• Consideration: Be mindful of patients’ needs and the work of the nursing team. Avoid loud conversations and unnecessary noise.
• Health: Visit only if you are well. If you have signs of a cold, flu or another infectious illness, please postpone your visit.
• Flowers and gifts: Potted plants are not permitted for hygiene reasons. Cut flowers are welcome, but please avoid strongly scented varieties.
• Animals: Dogs and other pets are not permitted inside the hospital for hygiene reasons.
