At Klinik Manhagen, we use state-of-the-art robot-assisted technology to make surgery even more precise, safe and gentle. In knee replacement surgery in particular, robotics enables precise planning and execution tailored to each patient’s individual anatomy.
Robot-assisted procedures are used in particular for advanced osteoarthritis of the knee, joint deformities and planned knee replacement surgery.
We will discuss with you in a personal consultation whether this method is suitable for your situation.
During robot-assisted surgery, an advanced system supports our surgeons in planning and performing the procedure. The experienced surgeon remains in complete control at all times.
The system helps to analyse your individual anatomy accurately, plan the procedure precisely and position implants with millimetre precision.
During surgery, the robotic systems provide our experienced surgeons with precise real-time data on anatomy and joint movement. This allows the implant to be positioned with millimetre precision and tailored exactly to your individual anatomy.
The introduction of the robotic systems is being led by two experienced Chief Physicians. Both systems complement our proven surgical approaches and enable even more individualised and precise knee surgery.

Yes. The surgical robot assists the experienced surgeon but does not replace them. The doctor remains in control at all times.
The costs of robotic surgery are not yet fully covered by the standard schedule of benefits. Any co-payment will be explained transparently during your personal consultation.
During robotic-assisted knee surgery, a surgical robot provides the surgeon with precise real-time data to position the knee implant accurately for the individual patient.
Robotic assistance enables greater precision, protects the surrounding tissue and may improve the longevity of a knee replacement.
